I made templates on the computer based on the machinist's diagrams.
I measured twice and cut once.
and still....
The shroud holes on the left side weren't matching the holes on the right. There was a noticeable angle to the holes. sigh.
Fortunately it wasn't TOO hard to fix. I cut a panel with the vent holes and spliced it into the shroud. Lots o' putty and sanding and I'm back to where I was a day ago.
Oh well.
